I am a wife, mother, and certified teacher with over 6 years of experience in the classroom. With three children of my own, I've taken a leap of faith into the world of homeschooling and alternative education! I believe that children learn best through experience and exposure, and deserve to learn in a loving, safe environment at their own pace, free to pursuit their individual interests and curiosities, to help them discover and develop their unique gifts and talents. I am determined to provide the best educational upbringing for my children and love to include learning playmates along on our adventures! As someone who has always enjoyed being outside, has seen the advantages with my own children, and follows the current research that supports the benefits of outdoor natural play, I strive to provide opportunities for children to connect with, explore, and learn about  our natural world in a way that supports a life long appreciation of nature.
