Academic Tutoring

My credentials and experience allow me to help student with reading and writing skills at all ages from early learners to ELA 10, 20, 30. I have experience as a speech and debate coach (and judge) and am happy to help students to prepare any part of their process. I use a variety of resources and approaches, depending on the age and needs of the student. Sessions can take place in my home, your home, or at the public library with evening availability. What are you paying for? Sometimes I spend as much time preparing for your session as I do with you - if not more! I carefully prepare lessons or activities based on individual student needs and learning styles. Once we complete a session, I record observations and reflections before deciding on next steps and starting on your next session! I love the time I spend face to face with students - I equally love the preparation process (I am a creative!).
